Philosophy

Our ethos is based on the idea that real progress comes from combining science, joy, and grit. We believe in training that is evidence-based and focuses on physiology. This means steady aerobic development, a clear structure, and long-term growth. At the same time, we think the strongest athletes are those who remain joyful, resilient, and grounded through every high and low. Grit is what holds it together: the courage to begin, the patience to stay consistent, and the resilience to keep going when the path gets tough. As a coach, my job is to support the whole athlete; their goals, stress, life, and dreams, while helping them build both physical strength and emotional toughness. Training should build confidence, create joy, and equip athletes with the tools to grow for life, not just for one race.
